Quantity Surveyor

The successful candidate will be a driven individual with a working knowledge of JCT forms of contract and have proven cost management and project administration skills. Ideally you will have experience of working on high end residential projects and hold, or be working towards a professional qualification.

A minimum requirement of 5 years Quantity Surveying experience is required, and you will be reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Tasks will include estimating, formulating budget forecasts, cost monitoring and reporting, procuring and managing sub-contractor packages, and financial project management.

Health and Safety Project Co-ordinators

HSPC (Hygge) Ltd. Are looking for HSPC’s at all levels.

The ideal candidate should be suitably qualified and have the following;

  • A recognised professional qualification ie: NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate.
  • Ideally be an Incorporated Member of the Association of Project Safety (IaPS) and/or a Technician Member of IOSH or similar.
  • Knowledge of the Management in Construction Jersey Regulations and the HSPC role.
  • Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills.
  • Excellent technical writing ability.
  • Client-facing and commercially astute.
  • Excellent organisational skills, proactive, with the ability to work with initiative within tight deadlines.
  • A full clean driving license is required.

The candidate will lead the process of providing HSPC services to clients, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety Legislation.

Working Foreman

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience working on high end residential projects from inception through to handover of keys. You will need to be familiar with the build process from groundworks to fit out, and have the ability to manage multiple teams of sub-contractors whilst possessing the confidence and ability to liaise with people at all levels.

Carpenters and Joiners

Carpenters and Joiners required at all levels, for high end residential works.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years experience and be conversant with modern building methods.

Experience of timber frame and SIPS panel construction is an advantage as well as interior fit out knowledge.
